Jeanette Samano is of Mexican origin, she grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Sylmar, California. Being the middle child in a family of 5 kids, Jeanette found her expression and sense of individuality through self-made comedy performances, and, at a young age, began doing stand-up comedy shows for family and friends. Jeanette credits her father, former comedian Felipe Samano, for her comedic inspirations and passion for performance.She has studied acting at the American Conservatory theatre in San Francisco, Ivana Chubbuck Studios, Brian Reise Acting Studios, Sterling Acting Studios and improv at Up Right Citizens Brigade. Her many years of studying has enabled her to audition and book 3 starring roles in full lenght feature films. In 2015 she filmed a teen slasher film "Murder in the Woods" in which she leads as Fernanda, a young 18-year-old woman who, although a bit of an outsider, steps up and leads when things get hairy and scary in the woods. And currently she is filming "SOPHIE" with Amanda Plummer, the second installment for "ISA" which premiered on SciFi Channel, playing a troubled high school student who discovers that a chip in her brain alters her dreams to merge with reality. More recently Samano was cast as Gaby in Female Fight Club playing opposite to Dolph Lundgren, the role will be showcasing her alethic skills as an underground member of a female fight club.A very passionate, multi-talented and athletic actress, Jeanette loves to box and run track in her spare time and she has also been dancing since the age of eight, having trained at Millennium Dance Complex and with Debbie Reynolds. She has danced and performed on The LopezTonight Show and other huge venues, such as Power House, and Teen Choice Awards.This young actress is thriving in Feature films, and Sci Fi has proven to be a fitting genre. Jeanette hopes that her next project will allow her to showcase her inherent comedic abilities.
