He achieved some notoriety in 2005 by reaching the final table of the World Poker Tour event Bay 101 Shooting Stars on an $8 satellite from ParadisePoker. He was nominated in 2016 by the BC Community Theatre Commission for Best Supporting Actor for his role(s) in Surrey Little Theatre's production of The Last Lifeboat by Luke Yankee.
