Jason M. Varso is a Michigan actor who was born and raised in West Michigan. His parents were in the education field. He has one brother and two sisters and at the current time has six nieces and two nephews.He started acting back in middle school in a few school plays. The summer of of his graduation he was hired to act in 3 professional summer stock productions. He didn't start acting in movies until the summer of 2008 where he worked in a short film called Respect For The Dead. Two weeks later he found himself working with Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) and Sam Huntington (Not Another Teen Movie) in the film TUG, which also included Haylie Duff (Napoleon Dynamite), Sarah Drew (Radio), and Yeardley Smith (As Good as It Gets).Jason decided to get his second degree at Ferris State University before he pursued his professional acting career. He felt that education was very important to have due to the "unknowing" of acting work. After graduation he moved down to South Carolina where he signed with an agency in Wilmington, N.C. He had the honor in working with a great cast in the TV show Army Wives (Lifetime). While he was on set of Army Wives he was asked by a production assistant if he would like to be in the movie Little Red Wagon as a reporter which was being directed by David Anspaugh (Rudy, Hoosiers). He, of course, accepted. The next day he was working with Chandler Canterbury (Knowing, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad, Enemy of the State) and Daveigh Elizabeth Chase-Schwallier (The Ring).Jason M. Varso is known throughout the state of Michigan with his DUI commercial for the Office of Highway Safety Planning that started airing in 2009.Jason has been in many other movies and commercials. He is attached to the movie Past Due, which will be directed by Robert Conrad (The Wild Wild West) and with the Cinematographer Ronald Vidor (Lethal Weapon, Jaws, Rocky III). The cast stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Expendables), and John Wells, who is an up and coming actor.Jason has worked alongside of Stanley Tucci, Mark Wahlburg, Jason Segel, Jesse Eisenberg, Dean Cain, and Catherine Bell -- just to name a few. He has also worked under the direction of Michael Bay, Joanna Kerns, and Joel Paul Reisig. Again, just to name a few.
