Born and raised in San Francisco, Jason triggered a passion for photography during summer camping trips. His father taught him the principles of exposure, light and composition which lead lead to a film degree from UC Santa Cruz. In 2005 he began work as a news cameraman which he soon left in pursuit of films and documentaries.
