Jared Kolka has trained at Margie Haber Studio and Anthony Meindl Actor's Workshop, and he was recently seen in "The Oval." Previous experience includes classes with the Bear Educational Theatre in Prague and Act One Studio in Chicago. He came to acting later in life following extensive studies, work, and travels abroad. He has studied the languages, religions, and cultures (including the films) of the places he has visited. Thus far, he has lived in France, Spain, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.Kolka was born and raised in Schaumburg, Illinois. He is the second of three children. He earned a degree in psychology and Spanish from Fairfield University before later receiving a master's in teaching from National-Louis University. He is an accomplished pianist and tennis player.
