Jany Holt was born on May 13, 1909 in Bucharest, Romania. She was an actress and director, known for Le pays sans étoiles (1946), Mademoiselle de la Ferté (1949) and Le paradis de Satan (1938). She was married to Marcel Dalio. She died on October 26, 2005 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
