Jamara was born in Mississippi where he attended the University of Southern Mississippi before becoming a local successful entrepreneur. Somewhere during that time he was also a resident of the New Orleans area whee he also left a mark and made a name for himself. In the fall of 2013 Jamara was casted in Tate Taylor's "Get on Up" and ever since then he been filming nonstop. Jamara currently works extensively in the Southeast region and has an incredible resume. He is rising up the ranks to be one of the hardest and most featured African American actors in the South.
