He was born Jake Ivano Francois in Palermo, Italy, on September 26, 1995, to Pamela Christine Francois (Fanchon), who worked as a babysitter, and Elvis Patrick Francois, an antique dealer and sailor. Jake was raised in Mauritius. where he graduated high school in 2016. At the age of 12 he lost his Father to a lung tumor. He was then introduced to acting and singing with the Group Abaim in Mauritius to stop his depression and sadness. Jake did his first play at the age of 14 where he played the org re in Little thumb Mauritius version, He then started singing professionally with his group. He was discovered by his art teacher who train him and bring him back to the stage with 1806. In 2014 ,Jake auditioned for a Mauritian production; Tikoulou et le Souffle Magique while still in High School. Tikoulou et le Souffle Magique was the kick off of his career. In 2016, Jake graduated High School. He began to work in a call center part time to pay for his university. Later that year he decided to stop and apply to acting schools around the world, In late 2017, he was accepted and offered scholarships in prestigious acting schools around the globe, but due to financial lacks he couldn't go immediately. In August 2017 he was offered an extra role in Serenity starring Mathew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.In November he was offered a freelance contract as a radio and TV host at the Mauritius Broadcasting Cooperation. In December 2017 he starred in a Malaysian TV series Kasu mele Kasu as the head of the villain. The year 2018, Jake played in several south African and German TV series and movies including; Life is a Beach in March 2018. In June 2018 he starred in Singleholic, starring Erica Ash. Jake is working on his YouTube Channel. He is also trying to find financial aids to be able to start his acting courses in Los Angeles. Show less «
