Inertia Justice birth name Tameka White is an African American poet, model, actress born in Houston, TX on May 27, 1974. She was raised by her mother Lauretta (Maiden) White tax account from Keithville La. Her father Anthony White is a retired truck driver. Justice has an older brother "Dezz" Desmi White a touring comedian. Inertia was always a talented girl. She has been writing poetry since the age of eight and helped write her 5th grade class song. She was the first freshman to ever perform a solo song for the graduating senior class at her middle and high school. A born revolutionary she was named Inertia by her en-lightener/mentor Supreme Fission in early years of college because of her tenacity.Her career as a spoken word artist began in college, performing on various HBCU campuses. Which includes Texas Southern University where she received a BA in Communication and a MA in Sociology, Clark Atlanta, Spelman and Morehouse College. The three time National Slam Poet has performed in hundreds of venues across the United States and Internationally. She has been published in several national and international anthologies of poetry. Ms. Justice is a trendsetter through-out the south being the first poet to produce three poetic albums: Momentum, Destiny (available on iTunes) and A Poet. She self published three books of poetry: Predigested Densationalism - Mental Babyfood, Good News and At Last. Inertia was the first poet to write, direct and perform a "poetical" - stage play constructed of poetry, interpretive dance and song which was performed in Houston's legendary The Ensemble Theater.She is not foreign to the stage. Her theatrical debut was at the Midtown Art and Theater Center of Houston (MATCH) as "Mrs. Lee" in Shaneisha Dodson's "Coffee Shop". She then won the lead role of "Ramona" in Curtis Von's touring stage play Just As I am.Justice got her start in film as a staff skit actress with Houston's HueTV and added a supporting role of Dr. Alicia White in the film "When Doves Cry" Clayton Chester, writer; Lionell Hilliard, Sarita Fruge, Donald LeDoux, & Desirae Hoover, prods.; Nyrita Thompson, writer/prod./director Wanting to experience all side of the business Inertia worked as a background player in Robert Rodriguez's Alita: Battle Angel (2018) and Michelle Mower's Sanitatum (2017).
