Iliana Spirakis is a Greek-Canadian actor born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, Greece. Based in Toronto, Iliana is a passionate storyteller whose acting journey started from a very young age. Inspired by the ancient Greek plays she watched as a child and the importance theatre played in her culture, she knew from very young that this was her life's dream and purpose.Before moving to Canada, she lived in Brussels, Belgium for two years and studied at the International Academy of Film and Television in Antwerp, where she also fell in love with the art of acting for film. She holds certification in acting performance from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and is a graduate of Humber College's Theatre Performance Program, where she spent three years vigorously training and practicing her craft.Iliana's passion is acting and whether it is on stage, in front of a camera or behind a mic, her love for play is always present. Apart from acting, she is a multidisciplinary artist ranging from dance, music, and even creating and designing her own jewelry. Having always been a hard worker, Iliana continues to thrive and consistently brings an uplifting, positive and supportive energy to any project she is a part of.When Iliana is not creating or performing, she is usually daydreaming of the next chance she will get to return to the seaside village of Afissos, a place dear to her heart, where her very first performances were created and brought to life in front of her family and neighbours.
