Halem Charles Medina is an American actor and stunt performer.He was born Feb 18th, 1990 on Oahu and raised in Lihue Hawaii. There he learned the Hawaiian Value System which consists of Aloha (love), Kuleana (responsibility), Malama (care for), Laulima (many hands working together for one purpose), as well as the songs and dances of his Hawaiian culture.At a young age he liked sports and the performing arts. He was in productions such as the Promise Kept and movie The Testaments. In high school he played competitive football, basketball and track & field. He was a state champion canoe paddler which helped him land a role as a paddler in the opening scenes of Hawaii five-O. He played college football at Snow College and Minot State where he attained a degree in Exercise Science.After college he moved back to Hawaii to pursue his passion of acting. He was cast in the supporting role of Stew Pot in South Pacific where he was discovered by a casting director. He was a photo double in Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle, Jungle Cruise as well as Hobbs and Shaw. He has appeared in other films in varies roles. Halem joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2019. To strengthen and fine-tune his skills he went to Stunt School Academy in Los Angeles where he trained under Banzai Vitale. Halem is represented by Talent Management group (TMG).
