A graduate of the Directors Guild of America Training Program, Glen Trotiner began his professional career in the motion picture business as an assistant director on Brian De Palma's classic film "The Untouchables". He has since worked on movies produced at all budget levels, and all over the globe.His long list of feature films as assistant director includes "Awakenings", "Regarding Henry", "Hackers", "Jungle2Jungle", "Isn't She Great", "Big Daddy", "Phone Booth", "Maid In Manhattan", "Last Holiday", "What Happens In Vegas", "Vamps", "Deliver Us From Evil", and "The Promise".Among his many films as a producer are "Bella", which received the Audience Award at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival, "Bernard and Doris", for which he was nominated for the Directors Guild of America Award along with director Bob Balaban, "The Trust", directed by award winning duo Benjamin and Alex Brewer, and "Three Christs", based on the groundbreaking early study of schizophrenia.He also wrote and directed "Overnight Sensation", a unique feature film set at The Sundance Film Festival, which won best screenplay at both The Long Island sand Malibu Film Festivals, and sold to Vanguard Cinema.He now proudly holds a seat on the Board of Trustees of the very Directors Guild of America Training Program that gave him his start in the industry, and is a founding partner in Burnside Entertainment.
