Gerry Newton was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. He has been a prominent local actor on stage and in film since the mid 80's. Most known for his work with local Derry playwright, Eddie Kerr and had his feature film debut acting alongside actor James Nesbitt in Bloody Sunday (2002). Gerry also featured in a small role in Proud (2004) as a train passenger. He is married with two children. His eldest son, Andrew is also an actor working in local theatre and film. Show less «
