George P. Cosmatos was born on January 4, 1941 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy as Yorgo Pan Cosmatos. He was a director and writer, known for Tombstone (1993), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) and Cobra (1986). He was married to Birgitta Ljungberg.
