Frank Catanzano is a journalist and public relations professional who has worked for corporations and organizations around the world. He has written speeches for top executives and hundreds of articles on subjects ranging from stainless alloys for aerospace to life aboard an oil super tanker. Frank has won more than 16 national and local writing and publicity awards and today owns Emerald City Communications, a Pittsburgh public relations firm.Frank's first novel, "Drummer for the Mob," is in preproduction by Pittsburgh's North Shore Pictures to adapt the screenplay (written by Raphael Serebreny),into a feature-length film. Northshore is scouting locations in Pittsburgh and beginning to cast parts. The film will feature actors Tom Savini (From Dusk to Dawn, Creepshow and Dawn of the Dead), Kurt Angle (The Warrior and Death from Above), Robert Z-Dar (Maniac Cop), Pete Gannon (The Clearing and Lost in Yonkers) and Sam Nicotero (My Bloody Valentine and In Self Defense). Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2011.A graduate of Point Park University's School of Journalism, is a native of Pittsburgh. An accomplished musician, he plays drums with The Jazz Express at venues such as The Rivers Casino, D'Imperio's, the Wooden Nickel and other clubs throughout Pittsburgh. Frank is completing his second novel, "Killer Body," due to be published in spring, 2011.Acting credits include appearances in Hoffa, Sudden Impact, Bump in the Night and Love and Other Drugs.
