Francisco Ortiz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started acting at the age of 9 and has worked as an actor and model across most of Latin America and in 2004 qualified from the University Of Buenos Aires with his film-making degree. After that he traveled to Europe working in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Manchester and London.In 2008 he joined MTV as a VJ hosting two indie music shows for Latin America and also presented the "MTV HD Top 20" which was broadcast worldwide.In 2010 he co-founded the theatre company "E.T.", developing his skills as a playwright, producer and actor with the trilogy of theatre plays "Entre Tipos" episodes I, II and III. In addition to that he starred in the Argentinian version of the Spanish play "Desmesura", co-wrote and co-starred the theatre adaptation of the short film "Las Llaves", and participated in the first English spoken play that has opened in the commercial theatre circuit in Buenos Aires, Benjamin Kunkel's "Intruders". He made his debut on the London theatre scene in 2012 playing "Ambrosio", the leading role in the theatre adaptation of Mathew Lewis' "The Monk".He is developing the TV series "Avalon" (leading an independent production company of young actors & filmmakers as screenwriter, producer and director of the project) and is also on location shooting the feature film "Erase Una Vez En Buenos Aires" (Once Upon A Time In Buenos Aires) with directors Diego Labat & Agustín Ross Beraldi.
