Eugenie Anselin was born in Paris. She spends a few years of her childhood in Germany before moving to Luxembourg with her family. She is native in German, French and Luxemburgish, and fluent in English. At the age of fourteen, she attends the Conservatory of Luxemburg where she takes acting classes. Two years later she writes her one-woman-show "Attention chantier en cours" which she plays, among others, for the opening of the "Humour pour la paix" Festival with a great success. The young actress pursues her stage and screen career and enters the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK) from which she graduated in 2016. She appears in several movies an TV productions such as Der Hauptmann (Robert Schwentke), Bad Banks (Christian Schwochow), Mobile Home (François Pirot), Die dunkle Seite des Mondes (director: Stephan Rick), Eng nei Zait (director: Christophe Wagner).
