Emily Siobhan McCourt is an Albertan-born actress and musician known for her love and affinity for dramatic and comedic performances, and for her roles in Bunker Burger (2019), Cor Values (2018), and Les enquêtes de Murdoch (2008).Her family moved several times while in Edmonton, and even spent a year living in Ireland so that they (Emily and her siblings) would be closer with their Irish family. She assumed she would go into genetics as a teen, as most of her immediate and extended family worked in either science or business. It was only after working with a youth theatre company (of which one of the founding members was Brendan Meyer ) that she realized she had a passion and talent for acting.She discovered her passion for screen acting when she auditioned and was cast in her first feature film; the first film role she ever auditioned for. After graduating with distinction from theatre school in Alberta, she performed both as an actor and as an accomplished fiddle player across Canada.
