Emily Scorse was born on July 7, 1994 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. A seasoned stage actress she started her theatre career at the ripe old age of two years old. For the next eight years of her life she performed with "The Backyard Theatre Company" which was run by her mother Jeannie, who wrote and directed plays. Her father Doug, an Architect and Artist, painted all the sets. Their last performance was Shrek in which Emily played "Donkey" with a cast of 24 kids and an audience of over 200 people in the backyard. All donations were given to their favorite animal rescue charity. Emily went on to receive lead roles in school plays such as "Treasure Island" and the Senior School play "Tom Jones" where she played the lead Sophia Western. At 10 years old Emily was given a Principal role in the feature film Kickin' It Old Skool' and was told by Director's and Producers how well she took direction. With a multitude of professional acting classes and accolades from professionals in the business her passion continues. Emily loves history and was intrigued by black and white films at a very young age. When her mother tried to change the channel to cartoons she would kick up a fuss until the Turner Classics were back on.Graduating a year early with honors, Emily pursued her Personal Training Certification while taking University courses on-line at UCLA and UBC. She worked for Steve Nash Sports Club for a year and a half before opening her own Personal Training business called Studio Twenty Nine. Emily is a natural athlete and plays many sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, golf, kick boxing and snowboarding. She is also an accomplished dancer and singer and continues to take classes when her schedule permits.
