Ellen Smith began acting as soon as she could smile. Born in Boise, Idaho, Ellen graduated from Bishop Kelly High School and then proceeded onto college at the University of Idaho. Ellen thereafter graduated with her bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with a focus on stage acting. Feeling up to a new challenge, Ellen then went to law school and graduated with a Juris Doctorate from University of Idaho. Subsequently, Ellen opened her own law firm in Boise, Idaho, Smith Horras, P.A., with her husband and brother. However, even as an active practicing attorney, Ellen could not dismiss her passion for acting and began pursuing a film acting career in 2012.
