Eliska Amor was born on Valentines Day, 1988, in Manhattan, New York City, to young parents. While attending school, Eliska's school theatre teacher and Head of the Drama Department commented on "her outstanding ability to transform herself in a way only a trained actor could do," and promptly suggested she attend a prearranged interview with a notable Hollywood agent. Hesitant, for a number of personal reasons including her already established bond with acting as a form of mental escape during her parents rocky marriage, a then thirteen year old Eliska eventually agreed to the meeting with the permission of her parents, despite their concerns that her status as an honor student may be jeopardized. Shortly after contracting elite representation, Eliska begun her career in television with a prestige first time role as Ana in the pilot episode of ER. Following with a string of minor guest roles on Goosebumps, American Gothic, Smallville, Boston Public and Ncis, Eliska was contacted and then signed by 713 Models (formerly known as Page Parkes Modeling Agency) in New York and was immediately booked by a number of high-profile clients such as Calvin Klein, Lonsdale London, YSL, Ralph Lauren, Swatch and Billabong despite the negatives regarding her height. However in 2005 Eliska begun to turn down offers with the mentality to focus on her career in acting. In 2006, Eliska was accepted to Ivy League school, Brown University, however the actress has deferred her schooling to act, but plans to return in the future. Show less «
