Eli Thorne is a British born stage and screen actor based in Amsterdam, NL.After graduating from Exeter University, UK, having focused on a wide variety of skills ranging from interpreting Shakespeare to theatre as a tool for social change, Eli worked for a number of years in the south-west of England, quickly rising to lead roles in major regional theatres.After developing as both an actor and theatre-maker, Eli moved to Amsterdam to continue a steadily rising career. With a respectable command of voice technique and accents, he found himself in demand for voice artist opportunities, and has now worked with an array of global brands from Sony Playstation to Heineken to Vodaphone to Volkswagen.Eli also began a film career in the Netherlands, appearing in a number of shorts, including Dominic Linane's "Mesmerism" and the award-winning "Lights Out" from Director Wesley Versteeg. As a debut feature, Eli also starred in TCF's "Vigilante", appearing at Cannes Film Festival 2013.Alongside these achievements, Eli also develops his own work to extend his creative practice and performance craft with Orange Tea Theatre, Amsterdam's leading English language theatre company. With co-founder Lora Mander, he develops and produces theatre with the audience at it's heart, finding new ways to interact and engage with an ever-changing public and social sphere.
