Born in the beautiful sea coast town of Newport Beach California, Elena Goodman has been entertaining audiences since the age of 4. It all began during a 3 week hospital stay when a local repertory company made an impromptu appearance, and invited the precocious toddler to join their cast of "Annie." The resulting enthusiasm of both Hospital Staff and patients encouraged her parents that they might consider the possibility of a career of showbiz for little Elena. Within a matter of weeks, she was signed by the renowned kid's agent Dorothy Day Otis followed by TV appearances on shows like, "Punky Brewster," "Who's the Boss?," and "Charles in Charge." During her high school years at Corona del Mar High, Elena discovered her love affair with the theatre with lead performances in a myriad of hit plays including, "Pygmalion," "Street Car Named Desire," and "Aquarius." However, the call to the big screen was inescapable and shortly after her graduation, she joined the "Groundlings" in Hollywood before heading to the "Big Apple" for a recurring principal role as the young intern Dr. Kara Lyndon on the ABC soap opera, "All My Children." Making the most of her time in New York, she jumped at every opportunity to act, which resulted in performances in several Off Broadway plays and a variety of national and regional commercials. The lure of the big screen couldn't keep the versatile Ms. Goodman from returning to her Southern California roots to pursue opportunities in television and film. Since her return to L.A., Elena has appeared in "Monk" and "Still Standing" with many more to come. Show less «
