Edward A Chambers was born in New Orleans, La. and moved to Napa, Ca. at the age of eleven. After a stint in the Navy, he moved back to Louisiana and was a police officer for twenty plus years. It was during that time he got the acting bug while working a bodyguard detail for Jackie Gleason during the filming of "The Toy" in Baton Rouge. Gleason insisted that he try being an extra in the movie and he was hooked. He continued working as a police officer and doing extra work when he could, then he landed a role in Hallmark's "Old Man", and a small stunt gig in "Crazy In Alabama". After which, he made the decision to concentrate on his law enforcement career. Several years later he reconnected with some industry friends, and continues to book and study every chance he can.
