Born in 1955 to Ferris (Poochie) and Janie Clements, Ed Clements was raised in Brownwood, a small, central-Texas town located two hours west of Austin, Texas. Ed has two sisters and two brothers.Worked in Midland, Texas for ten years as a radio broadcaster for KCRS Radio.In 1990, Ed moved to Austin to begin working for KLBJ Radio. Ed has remained with KLBJ ever since. Currently is a co-host on Austin's Morning News with Mark, Ed and Sgt. Sam from 5:30-10:00am. Also hosts a sports talk show from 6-7pm with fellow host Jeff Ward.Ed is involved with several organizations in Austin. He is a past board member of the American Heart Association, Junior League of Austin and currently serves as a board member of the Capitol of Texas Alzheimer's Association. Ed is known as one of the leading MC's for corporate, charity and political events. Clements was the MC for President George W. Bush for both inaugural parades and a Presidential dinner in January, 2005.Clements also works closely with Austin golf, working with two time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw and volunteering for the First Tee of Austin.First major acting was in 'Friday Night Lights' (TV Series).
