Marion E. Jones is the creator of the Order of the Golden Feather fantasy series, one of the most popular series in the history of Crestline. Who Is Marion E. Jones? Marion E. Jones is a K9 handler, Behavior Detection Officer, and author best known for the six-book Golden Feather Saga. The series has sold a great number of copies and has been adapted into an audiobook and multiple e-book translations.Early Life Jones was born 1975, in Brooklyn, New York. His early years were rough, exposing him to drugs, alcohol and gun violence. Jones adopted the pen name Marion Jones because it was a unisex name. A graduate of Atlantic City High School, Jones spent time with the military, was a blackjack dealer for three years, and worked on stage, film and commercials before moving to California in 2001 to continue his acting career. There, Jones met, married, and divorced a school teacher. They had two amazing children. Seven years after the marriage ended, Jones moved to Crestline, CA with a new fiancé. While struggling to support the two children and a new home, Jones worked on the first book in the series. The idea for the book reportedly occurred while watching two movies; Legion and the Twilight series.BooksAfter a number of rejections from publishers, Jones finally self-published the first novel, The Order of the Golden Feather. It hit shelves in 2017. The story is squeaky clean and fun for all ages. The book was the start of a six-book series chronicling the life of Mariana the archangel who had a forbidden love affair with a human in danger.'Clipped Angels' The second book in the Golden Feather series, Clipped Angels, came out in summer 2018.'Black Feather' The third book in Jones' series, Black Feather, hit shelves in Winter 2019. By the following summer, the first three books were available as e-books, in Spanish and English. (Jones released the first three books as a trilogy for $1 to give poor people the opportunity to enjoy his books during the tough economic times.)'Perfect Chaos ' The phenomenal response to Jones' books culminated in January 2020, when the fourth volume in the series, Perfect Chaos, depicted the transition from angel to human. The novel saw an audiobook in Summer 2020. It was spicier than the previous books and written more for adults.
