Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Donald Schell called the Metro Detroit area his home until Graduation in 2000. Having ROTC already on the resume, Donald entered military service the next year as a firefighter. Beyond basic training, he spent time abroad in combat environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan until 2009. It was that year an opportunity arose to play small roles in two comedies, "All's Faire in Love" and "American Virgin". Drawing from his idols of comedy, such as Seth MacFarlane and Dan Aykroyd, Donald was on his way to becoming a regular on the big screen. Those dreams however, had to be placed on hold as he returned to Afghanistan as a combat fireman up until 2014. No matter how much work was done abroad, the acting bug couldn't be shaken, thanks to inspiration from such greats as Vincent Price, Tim Burton, Kevin Smith and Stan Lee. Working with Producer/Director Joseph Kelly, Producer David Baily and his Publicist Angela Joseph, 2018 marked his return with the film "Clown Motel: Spirits Arise". Complete with his knowledge of combat and firefighting, and experience within nearly 3 dozen countries and islands around the world, Donald's future is as bright as his rekindled flame for the art. Every venture is more than a piece of life, but a lifetime well lived over and again.
