Dominique Deon started her acting career in her hometown Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of KD College of Film and Dramatic Arts. This achievement instantly led her to star in many stage productions throughout the city including performing at the African American Repertory Theater. After appearing in numerous productions, Dominique won an Irma P. Hall Black Theatre Award for best featured actress in a play for her role of "Sophie" in Lynn Nottages' Ruined at the Bishop Arts Theater. She made her film debut in Gosnell: America's Biggest Serial Killer for the role of "Betty Goodwin" starring Dean Cain and Earl Billings. Dominique enjoys to workout. She ran track, played basketball, volleyball, flag football in her teens and is still an athlete today. She loves to explore many styles of dance including jazz, hip hop, modern, lyrical and ballet. She is known for performing in many choreography's at the Black Box Theater hosted by Paula Morelan. Dominique took her talent to Atlanta, Georgia January 2017 where she is now training at Nick Conti Professional Actor Studio. She is looking forward to working in the next Golden Globe Award series or in any feature opposite Denzel Washington!
