Born in the North of Denmark, in the small town of Aalborg- Dina Rosenmeier is the youngest of six children. A multi lingual traveler, she has lived in Spain, India, France ,The United Kingdom and The United States. While living in Spain she began her education as an actress at the Theatre School Sa Nau in Palma and studied the Stanislavski method of acting for two years and starred in several theater productions. She then went on to study at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City. The past decade she has been working in Film, Television and Theatre in Los Angeles, Spain and France.In 2011 she made a directorial debut with the award winning humanitarian documentary 'A Journey in My mother's Footsteps'. During the making of this documentary Dina visited many orphanages and institutions all over India that her mother had founded since 1973 and so began her own humanitarian chapter and she is now an activist and ambassador for street children and promotion of access to education.Although Dina is starring in several upcoming European film productions, she remains faithful to her background in theater and has been quoted saying "Take away my theater and you might as well take away my last breath." She is continuously starring as Gertrude Stein in an original absurd play in Spain called La Bateau Lavoir de Picasso and joins the theatre group as often as her schedule allows.In her spare time Dina is passionate about golf, horse back riding, photography, literature and the arts.
