Desirae Whitfield was born on July 3, 2002 in Twenty-Nine Palms, California to the proud parents of MSgt Desmond and Ericka Whitfield. She spent the first 4 years of her life living on the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twenty-nine Palms before moving to Okinawa, Japan. Desirae lived in Okinawa from the summer of 2006 to the summer of 2010. During her years in Okinawa, she attended two Japanese Montessori schools before going to the Department of Defense School aboard the Marine Corps base. The family returned to California in 2010 after 4 years in Okinawa. Desirae lived in Oceanside, California for a year and then moved to Moses Lake, Washington due to dad's year long deployment to Afghanistan. It is there that she used acting as an outlet, and went on to become the first African-American fourth grade female to have a leading role in Moses Lake Christian Academy's theatrical play entitled, "Don't Be Afraid Brigade." Since then she has continued to further her career in acting by being involved in other plays, films, and commercials. She is attending John D' Aquino's Intensive Young Actors performance school. Her awards include the Honor Roll and Outstanding Citizenship Award. Her dream and her goals are to receive an Oscar Award.
