Derrex, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, began his career in the lead role of the independent film "The Others"; portraying a drummer teetering on the edge of insanity. Brady then landed a guest-starring role on the award winning Lifetime Television show "Any Day Now" (starring Annie Potts) playing Ajoni, boyfriend of Mary Elizabeth's (Potts) daughter. Brady's role ended after a couple episodes. But executive producers decided to bring the character back for a pivotal plot twist and add Derrex as a series regular. Brady went on to work with Al Pacino in the film "Simone" and is widely known for his appearances as a recurring character and guest star on such CBS critically acclaimed shows "NCIS", "JAG", "The Agency" and playing the Mayor's son with the disease, schizophrenia on "The District." Brady garnered much attention as the addicted gambler on USA Networks' "In Plain Sight" and went on to portray a case worker in the critically acclaimed movie, starring Oscar winner Melisa Leo in "The Space Between"; events surrounding 911. Now adding behind the camera, Derrex teamed up with M.D. Walton to produce the award winning short film "The Championship rounds"; which resulted in the pair teaming up long term to launch SkyScope Pictures. Balancing behind and in front of the camera, Derrex will star in the upcoming romantic comedy "Questions" in 2015. With two more films showcasing his acting talents already slated for 2015, Brady shows no signs of slowing down.
