Dempsey Bryk is an American/ Canadian actor, born to actors Greg Bryk and Danielle Bryk in New York, NY. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and as a child Dempsey was a competitive boxer, placing first at the Ontario Bronze Gloves; soccer player, competing in Europe; debater; and mathematician, but he was also featured on family renovation shows such as A Bryk at a Time (2013) and "Bryk House." Dempsey was school president and attained an IB and an OSSD diploma in high school. After he graduated, he attended the University of Western Ontario on scholarship with an AEO acceptance to the Richard Ivey School of Business for only one year, before leaving for New York to study acting. He studied Meisner acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse Acting Conservatory. Only months after graduating he was cast in Mary Kills People (2017) , Saving Hope (2012) , and as a guest star on Heartland (2007) , and also wrote, co-directing, produced, and starred in his play "Oh loves a girl" Off-Broadway in New York (NYNW theater fest).
