Dean A. Sorenson was born in the Midwest. He graduated from college in Minnesota, then began the Dallas, Texas Police Academy. Throughout his career, Dean furthered his studies in Police Management, was certified by the prestigious "Reid Interview and Interrogation Institute", and is an alumnus of the Southwest Law Enforcement Institute. After serving the Citizens of Dallas, Dean honorably retired at the rank of Sergeant of Police, the rank he held for almost 20 years of his total 26 years of service with the Dallas, Texas Police Department.Prior to his retirement, Dean began acting professionally part-time in 2006, and upon his retirement, he dedicated himself to a full-time Acting Career.Dean has been seen in print advertisements, music videos, short and feature films, several web series and a syndicated television series.He is actively pursuing greater knowledge in the Art of Acting. Dean's Acting Coach is Ms. Theresa Bell of "Theresa Bell's Actor's Studio", Dallas, Texas, who teaches "Archetypal Character Acting" and the "Ivana Chubbuck Technique".Dean has also trained in several workshops, seminars, webinars, and classes.
