David James Mortimer, born on May 8, 1994 in the small town of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. Son of John and Brenda Mortimer. He has a brother, Brian, and sister, Sarah. Discovered his love for performing when he was fifteen competing in a local band competition as a drummer. Creating a taste for film and directing when filming skits with friends at home. Later joining drama clubs in high school, taking acting, singing lessons and teaching himself how to play guitar. After high school he entered a modeling competition for American Eagle, placing third in North America, and was featured on a billboard in Time Square, New York City, USA (2012). Later performing onstage in the musical "A Hard Days Night", which ran 8 shows (2013). As well as working on TV mini series "The Book Of Negroes (2015)" and new TV series "Frontier (2016)." Starring in the feature film "The Only Game In Town (2016)." David has begun filming a feature film entitled "The Undertow (2017)", where he stars as the lead actor named Abraham. Devoting time to studying Environmental Engineering at Cape Breton University and improving his skills in drama classes. With his time off he spends it with friends and family, staying fit and adventuring the outdoors.
