[on postwar traumatic stress disorders] For a lot of people, acknowledging some kind of psychological malady is a difficult thing to do. There's still an awful lot of stigma attached to public acknowledgment of a mental wound. It would be so much easier if they could look in the mirror and see a physical reflection of a wound - if they could see the symmetry. If they could see something missing, or scarred over, then they wouldn't be doubting themselves. Show less «
