David Beamish is an actor & musician, born in Auckland, NZ and raised in Brisbane, Australia. After only pursuing acting for five months, he secured his first major role in the increasingly popular Aussie independent horror film, "Charlie's Farm". David was cast as the key supporting role of backpacker/musician Gordon alongside well-known actors Tara Reid, Nathan Jones, Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley. He began his acting education participating in workshops with Peter Rasmussen, before becoming a part of Film & Television Studio International. In between his studies, Dave shot two further supporting roles in Gold Coast-based indie comedy feature film "Cursed" as Glen, and became Henry in up-and-coming Australian drama "Thicker Than Water" feature film beside singer/songwriter Pete Murray, and Aussie actors Anthony Wong & Chai Romruen. Dave personally enjoys Australian Football, and traveling to as many countries as he can. Originally the front man for two Brisbane-based rock bands, he has a love and appreciation for electric and acoustic music, playing the guitar and singing in small public gigs on occasion. Frequently collaborating with fellow musically minded people, he is linked to talented artists up and down the east coast. Determined to create a body of work to be proud of, Dave believes that motivation lies within work's personal meaning, and true success is creating the happiness of others.
