Daniel Eric Sanchez is an Spanish/Guatamalan actor, writer, musician and artist. Born to two missionaries in Panama during a 1968 civil war, he was driven home from the hospital at two days old while guerrilla soldiers attacked the road they were on. His father, Daniel Raul Sanchez, was able to get the family to safety only because he knew a relative of one of the soldiers and had previously been kind to her.Daniel attended various schools around the country as he grew up, attending a year of university as a Piano Composition major at William Jewel before moving south to study graphic design at the University of North Texas. He fell into on-camera work accidentally at age 34 when he stepped in for a model who failed to arrive on time at a magazine shoot he was art directing. Sending the photo to that model's agency as a joke, they signed him the next day. He found success in print and video work for MacDonald's, American Airlines, Miller Beer, Hasbro, and Pizza Hut. While at an audition for a Toyota commercial, a representative of 20th Century Fox asked him if he'd like to appear in Walking Tall: Lone Justice (2007) which was shooting in Dallas. Producers decided instead to cast him as a recurring FBI agent on the TV show Prison Break (2005), which was also shooting in Dallas.Known for his expressive face, romantic side and surprising comedic inclinations, he is often cast in roles of extremes - a hit man with the heart of gold who turns out to be a government informant, a wildly silly and loving brother who intentionally sabotages his uncle's pizzeria by individually terrorizing the customers the day the reviewer is there, an arrogant son who runs off with the family money only to hit rock bottom in a biker bar bathroom and later sell his body on the streets, an angel, a mobster, a stalker, a cheater, a boyfriend ready to give his girl another chance, and Joseph in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve.Daniel has two daughters, both artists. He and his wife Elizabeth live with their rescue animals in Dallas, Tx.He is also the co-host and co-creator of the movie review / comedy show podcast "The Fantastic Justice Squad Super Wonder Brother Friends (Who Review Stuff)"
