Daniel Benton started his career on-camera, guesting on several well-known TV series, including police Police Woman with Angie Dickinson (which he later wrote for). Daniel decided to concentrate more on writing than performing, and started his writing career on the aforementioned series. He went on to write for series such as Paper Chase, Dynasty, Jake and The Fatman, and Adventures In Wonderland (for which he received an Emmy nomination).In film, Benton's written numerous independent features including Hostage Syndrome, Nudity Required, Knockouts, L.A. Goddess. More recently the horror thrillers Near Death, Jack Hammer, and the military action thriller Special Ops: Delta Force.Benton began producing in television feature development on projects including Dragonlady for Lorimar and Cold Warriors, for Gruenbergfilm in Berlin. Benton's film production credits began with associate producer on L.A. Goddess, executive producer, writer, and producer on Near Death. The Revolting Dead followed, which he executive produced and co-wrote with director Michael Su.Benton also continues to develop noir and action thrillers, including Those Who Prey, plus future military action films.
