Dana was raised in the small town of Reidsville, Georgia. She was born to a teen mom, Barbara, and a young father, Mike. Dana's sister, Amanda, came a short year and a half later. The marriage did not last and her parents soon divorced. She and her sister continued to be raised by her father and his family. When she was a freshman in high school, her father suddenly died of a heart attack. Dana's grandmother, Ellse, became her legal guardian until she received her College Prep Diploma in 1992.Dana attended Middle Georgia College for a brief period but decided to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. She followed her father and great-grandfather and began working for the Georgia Department of Corrections in March of 1994. She continued to work in this field until April of 2015.In October of 2014, Dana was an extra in the film, Magic Mike XXL, which was filming in Savannah, Georgia. She took an acting workshop with the MMXXL Casting Director, Chad Darnell, in January of 2015. She then began working background for different film and television sets. She also began booking lead and supporting roles for independent and for students of Savannah College of Art and Design. In the middle to late part of 2015, she was signed with an agent at Classic Talent Agency.Dana's most recent productions are as Detective Spano in the Feature Film, Coup D'Etat. She also was cast in the role as Caroline in All Thumbs, and Green, and as Matilda, in Say It With Music. She is a featured cast member of the reality show Savannah Actors on the Move in Savannah.Dana, and her husband, Jason, have been married for 20 years and have two children, Mikayla and Maddox.
