Many know that Dale Townsend is an actor known for playing a small (but crucial) role as an airline clerk in 1984's "Hard To Hold", but what many do not know is that he founded a small production company named "DDT Productions". Throughout his younger years he and his small band of friends produced over a dozen short films that were snubbed year after year at award shows. However this did not phase young Townsend, as he continued on with his acting career while maintaining a full time job working for United Airlines. All of this leading up to his big screen debut alongside Rick Springfield in 1984.Following that performance (and realizing he had peaked in his career) he retired from the on-screen acting on a high note. He maintained a connection to the film industry as a prop master for MST Productions, with the occasional on-screen appearance.He has now retired from the film and airline industry's entirely, but this does not mean he is done acting! He continues to appear on stage at his local community church (stealing the show every time), and building many of the sets for the stage performances.
