A New York native, Cynthia found her love for performing at a very young age . As a child she was no stranger to the arts as she often accompanied her father to his nightclub performances mimicking his every move from backstage and eventually joining him in duets onstage. As a singer and actor she continued on to performing arts school where she was classically trained in Opera and Jazz. After completing a rigorous academic program of Advanced Studies and graduating high school at 16 and college at 19, she continued to study her craft at both Stella Adler and Maggie Flannigan studios in New York. Juggling both her musical and theatrical aspirations, Cynthia performed in productions of Rent (Mimi) and Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal) while also working as a session singer and lead singer for multiple bands throughout New York. After coming to Los Angeles to test for a pilot produced by Oscar winning producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, Cynthia decided to move to LA to pursue the next stage of her career. Small roles followed, including a role in the feature The One I Wrote for You with Kevin Pollak and Cheyenne Jackson where she was allowed to both sing and act. Since arriving in Los Angeles, she has appeared in a number of indie films and TV pilots and continues to work as a session singer as well. On her off time ,she is dedicated to her community as an active member of several charities and foundations including her work as a volunteer Creative Writing teacher for Juvenile Youth at Central Juvenile Hall in East Los Angeles.
