Curtis Waltermire is an American actor, print model and professional mentalist. When he is not touring with his one-man comedy mind reading show at corporate events, comedy clubs, and theaters, he works as an actor in feature films, industrial videos, and television commercials. Born and raised in St. Joseph, Illinois, he was a generally quiet kid who discovered a love for music, magic, and acting when he was about 10 years old. He served a short stint in the U.S. Army, then attended Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois where he studied acting, theater production, and public speaking for three years. He eventually dropped out of college to pursue a full-time entertainment career, and moved to Los Angeles in 1990 where he pursued various acting jobs. Unfortunately, the military forced him back on active duty towards the end of the Persian Gulf War, and his time in LA was cut short. He went on to finish the next few years while back in the Army in Alaska, and was married and had two daughters while serving there. He finally left the military a second time to pursue other businesses. He started and managed a construction sub-contracting company in Seattle, Washington for many years, and eventually left the business to pursue a full-time entertainment career once again after raising his two daughters. He currently (2018) lives in Wichita, Kansas, with his wife of 27 years and their two dogs, Dixie and Minnie. When he's not touring and entertaining professionally, he enjoys rigorous swim workouts, singing with his friends in a men's barbershop chorus, playing piano and guitar, building websites, kissing his wife, a glass of scotch and a fine cigar.
