Colby Clayton Lemaster was born in Snellville, GA, to a single mother. The grandson of Atlanta Braves pitcher Denver Lemaster, he grew up in a family that loved baseball. He on the other hand was not as enamored and found his outlet through performing in small community theatre projects as well as theatre in school.
