Born Clyde Edward Goins on December 7th, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, he is an actor known for Coach Carter (2005), Woman Thou Art Loosed (2005) Working with notable actor Samuel L Jackson. Goins grew up amidst the middle-classes, his mother Ruthie devoted housewife and full-time mother and his father a man with many titles, Dr. Brian D. Goins a decorated Christian minister, Chaplin, along with owning a pest control company. Later opening "Chaplain's Real Bar-B-Que" restaurant. The seventh of eight children, Clyde was a bright child, constantly playing upon his natural charm. A habit in which, while attending Canyon Springs High School earned him the name "dimples". His upbringing would see him experience many different social circles. His neighborhood was half populated by white and black, and close by was a strongly Muslim area. School was 80% white, but 70% of Goins' playmates were black. He learned how to be liked by everyone. Influenced by the likes of Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey and the Keenan Ivory Wayans created new explosion comedy show "In Living Color". Clyde began acting at the age of 17, quickly developing his own slick, semi-comic style. Then, at age 20, relocated to the San Fernando Valley where he would begin his quest in pursuit of worldwide industry success. Despite his parents' wishes, he didn't want to go to college anyway - the film industry was now his thing. After many auditions and extended hours attending acting workshops, . The saying, "Growth through experience", is a motto Clyde embraces to remain focused and inspired to continue, "you can never learn too much", Goins says. The following years, Goins would open a production company of his own "Dimpace Productions", of which he produces an Internet sketch comedy web-cast featuring comedy group, "Monday's Off".
