Stemming from Little Rock, Arkansas, Cleo Berry moved to the "Big Apple" at the ripe age of eighteen. While others seeking stardom ran from the harsh realities of the business, Cleo stayed, working feverishly to make a name for himself. Before graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC), he was already booking acting jobs. With a flair for comedy and the ability to create complex characters, he quickly built an impressive resume. He has appeared in countless commercials and promos as "the funny guy". While comedy is his specialty, Cleo thrives in dramatic roles against award-winning actors such as Hugh Laurie, Glynn Turman and Ving Rhames.Whether a hilarious over the top jester or a complex, stern character, Cleo continues to acquire fans and gain respect for his performances. Also, he has gained significant recognition and adoration for his stunning tenor singing voice. He was the first African-American to portray "Horton" in the National Tour of "Seussical the Musical".
