Born in Yorkshire in 1975, As a young child she appeared in popular TV shows "Crown Court" and "Coronation Street" before moving to London when she was eight years old. She went to school at Lady Eleanor Holles in Hampton Court and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, while continuing to act in TV. She read English at Cambridge University, getting a first class degree before being cast with Joan Plowright and Dorothy Tutin in the film _This Could Be the Last Time (1998)_. Clare Lawrence also runs West End theatre production company Out Of The Blue Productions with partner Anna Waterhouse. Their productions have included "This Is Our Youth" by "Kenneth Lonergan", " A Life In The Theatre" and "Oleanna" by "David Mamet", and "Some Girl(s)" by "Neil LaBute". Show less «
