Christy Hui is the creator of Warner Brother Animation's original hit series: "Xiaolin Showdown". The 52-episode series premiered on KidsWB! in the U.S., and also aired on Cartoon Network worldwide from 2003-2007. It was a global ratings success, and garnered many accolades including two Emmy awards for best sound editing in children's series. In 2011, Ms. Hui rebooted the franchise under the banner "Xiaolin Chronicles", and served as exec producer/show-runner on this co-production with the French studio Genao Productions. "Xiaolin Chronicles" made its debut on Disney XD (U.S.) and Cartoon Network Int'l in 2013. The series is also being distributed on major digital platforms, including Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Xbox, etc. Ms. Hui also created "Hulala Girls-Princesses with Power", an original entertainment brand that empowers young girls to protect Planet Earth through magical adventures, fun, and games (HulalaGirls.com). Prior to switching to the creative side, Ms. Hui served in various licensing, marketing, and international business development roles at Sony Pictures, DirecTV, and Gemstar/TV Guide. Lately, Ms. Hui is working on the development of an original animated feature, as well as a brand new graphic novel to expand the Xiaolin saga. With a love for storytelling, Ms. Hui is also passionate about all things Internet and creating mobile games, apps, and digital content for the evolving technology platforms.
