Christopher Tedrow is an American actor best known for his endearing and lovable--if sometimes awkward--characters.He was born Christopher Alan Tedrow on August 16, 1989, in Sterling, VA, USA and then raised in the family home in the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. He is the youngest of seven children. His mother started and ran a used bookstore out of their house for many years, where he developed a love of books and reading and an appreciation for the importance of words.He was homeschooled, which allowed for various extracurricular activities including Boy Scouts (he is an Eagle Scout), Soccer, and Basketball. He attended Lord Fairfax Community College, graduating in 2009 with highest honors before transferring and graduating from Christopher Newport University in 2012 with honors with a Bachelors in Musical Theatre.After college, he worked as a stage performer for several years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue film and television. He has studied with renowned sitcom instructor and acting coach Scott Sedita, as well as at the Upright Citizens Brigade, iO West, and Clay Banks Studio International.His favored genres are romantic comedy and sitcom, and his major artistic influences are James Stewart, John Krasinski, and Tom Hanks.He lives in Los Angeles with his wife.
