Former University of Georgia Football player now actor, Christopher Marrone is known for his role on Vampire Diaries, The Internship opposite Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and Operator opposite Ving Rhames. Now lives in LA. Christopher was born in Tallahassee, Florida, to Richard and Deborah Grund, Richard being a television and film actor and Deborah being a theatrical actor. Chris has always had a love for films. The idea of working in the entertainment industry was cultivated in him at a young age from hearing the stories from his mother and father about their experiences in the business. Christopher played football all throughout high school and into College, he played from 2008-2011 at the University of Georgia. After the conclusion of his football career, he was contacted by Coach Van Halanger from UGA informing him of a casting director searching for real football players who could act. Taking the leap of faith, Chris headed to Atlanta from Athens and made the audition. Being his first ever major audition, especially for Shay Griffin who is one of the South East's most working casting director's, Christopher got the call back and then landed the role as Murphy in the NBC film "Field of Vision." Since "Field of Vision" over the past four years he has worked on a multitude of features and short films, Features that include "The Internship", "+1", "Virginia Obscura", & "Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies", "Operator" You can also find Christopher featured in the web series "The New Faces of Black History" starring Roy Wood Jr from "The Daily Show" Whenever he has down time, Christopher keeps himself in class: studying with Deb Aquila, as well as John Homa.
