Christopher Farrell was born in Melbourne, Australia where he developed a strong passion for acting at an early age. He quit his first full time job, as an emergency nurse, to work on the HBO series The Pacific, before moving to Europe in his early twenties. He studied improvisation in London before returning to Melbourne for work in both film and theatre. Christopher is best known for his recurring role as Dr Rob Carson on the Australian series Neighbours, his lead role as Ryan in independent feature film A Thousand Moments Later and the Nervous Man in season one of Netflix series Rostered On. In 2017 Christopher performed on stage as Bruce Springsteen in the premier of award winning writer Gabriel Bergmoser's play Springsteen. He later reprised the role as Bruce Springsteen for the radio play that is available for download. He has been quoted as being extremely grateful to cinematographer Andrew Lesnie ACS ASC for lessons learnt during their time together on set in Melbourne.
